About Us
Nµ30 Magazine: The multimedia e-magazine and community devoted to athleticism, eating right and living better - in midlife. Nµ30 - Where 50 is the new 30. In 2006, I was diagnosed with type II Diabetes. I weighed 205 lbs. I now weigh 150, with 8% body fat. I'm actually cured of my Diabetes - something the medical community considers impossible. I did it through diet and exercise, and want to share the information that I employed to do that. That's the purpose of Nµ30 Magazine.
Who We Are
Inspiration: Our goal is to offer you examples of individuals who have successfully reclaimed their lives, their health and their youth – and to tell you how they did it. Life is a challenge, and we at Nµ30 want you to step up to the plate, armed with the latest and most accurate information possible. We want you stop looking at the people you want to be, and start being them.
Education: We aim to deliver the most in-depth and up to the minute information in the worlds of diet, exercise, alternative lifestyle, and healthcare. These are not puff stories full of celebrity photos and “miracle” magic bullets. The articles in Nµ30 are intended to bring you the science behind the secrets – the truth.
Support: We have created a community of like-minded people, all of who are working and struggling with the same issues you are. They are trying to find safe and delicious food. They are trying to squeeze an hour of exercise into 20 minutes. They are trying to weigh the vast amounts of information we’re all inundated with, and make the right choices.
Who We are Not
- We are not members of the medical community. We reach out to doctors and practitioners, but their word is not law. We study all aspects of Human health and well being, but we remain open to new ideas, and don’t limit ourselves.
- We are not dieticians. Again, we seek their advice, but we don’t allow ourselves the compromises that they do. We’re far more hardcore than they are.
- We are not ideologues. We are renegades. We are Ronin. We answer to no masters, and we forge our bodies in the fires of our wills.
